Name: HAT-P-25b

HAT-P-25b was discovered in observations by the HATNet Project. The discovery observations were taken between September 15, 2008 and March 16, 2009 and used the HAT-10 telescope in Arizona and the HAT-9 telescope in Hawaii. The discovery was made public in August 2010.

HAT-P-25b orbits the star HAT-P-25 (also known as GSC 1788-01237). The star is in the constellation of Aries (The Ram) and is a yellowish star of spectral type G5 and a size and mass similar to our Sun.
